1. Order Processing Time
All orders begin warehouse processing once payment is fully confirmed:
- Standard processing: 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding weekends and public holidays)
- Orders placed after 2 PM EST will move to processing the next business day
- Summer sale peak periods (America’s 250th Summer Sale) may add 1–2 extra processing days due to high order volume
- Pre-order or backordered items will show clear estimated ship dates on product pages, and we will email you shipment updates weekly
- Once packed and scanned by our carrier, you receive an automated shipping email with a unique tracking number to use on our Track Your Order page
2. Free Shipping Threshold
We offer complimentary standard ground shipping for all domestic orders subtotaling ** $199 or more** (before tax and discounts). Orders under $199 apply a flat ground shipping rate calculated automatically at checkout. Free shipping applies to small accessories, coolers, griddles, tabletop fire pits and eligible Summit fire pit bundles. Oversized freight bundles may carry minimal surcharges even if meeting the $199 threshold.
3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Timelines
Standard Ground Shipping (Default)
- Eligible for free shipping over $199
- Transit time: 3–7 business days after warehouse dispatch
- Carriers: UPS / FedEx Ground
- Suitable for all small accessories, coolers, griddles, tabletop fire pits, and compact Summit 19.5” fire pits
- No signature required for small parcels unless you select signature delivery at checkout
Expedited Air Shipping (Upgrade Option)
Available for non-oversized items only (excludes full-size fire pit bundles, pizza ovens and surrounds):
- 2-Day Air: Delivery within 2 business days post-shipping
- Next-Day Air: Delivery by end of next business day
- Expedited rates display live at checkout; expedited shipping cannot be applied to oversized freight orders
Oversized Freight Delivery (Large Fire Pits & Bundles)
Items classified as oversized ship via dedicated LTL freight carriers:
- Summit 27” Fire Pit, Yukon 27” Fire Pit + Surround Bundle, Infinity Flame Propane Fire Pit + Surround, full pizza oven units and patio furniture sets
- Transit window: 5–10 business days after processing
- Curbside delivery only: Driver will unload the large package to your driveway; indoor placement is not included
- An adult aged 18+ must be present to sign and receive the freight shipment
- Carriers will call you 24–48 hours prior to delivery to schedule a drop-off window
- Remote residential zones may add extended transit times and minor freight surcharges shown at checkout
4. Split Shipments for Multi-Item Orders
Many large bundles ship in separate boxes to avoid transit damage:
- Yukon bundles, propane fire pit + surround combos and orders mixing pizza ovens with fire pits will generate multiple tracking numbers under one single Order ID
- Each package may arrive on different days within the standard delivery window
- All tracking codes will populate automatically on our Track Your Order page once scanned by carriers
5. Alaska, Hawaii & Remote Domestic Zones
Standard free shipping over $199 does not apply to AK, HI and US territories. Separate flat-rate shipping fees calculate at checkout for these locations, with transit times extended by 3–6 additional business days. Oversized freight to these areas incurs elevated carrier surcharges.
6. International Shipping
We offer international delivery to select countries outside the US:
- All international customers are responsible for import duties, customs taxes, VAT and local brokerage fees upon arrival—these charges are not included in Solo Stoves shipping costs
- Customs clearance may delay delivery by 2–7 business days depending on local customs processing
- Oversized fire pits and pizza ovens have strict international shipping restrictions; some large bundles cannot ship cross-border
- International tracking updates may refresh less frequently than domestic shipments
7. Tracking Your Shipment
- Once your order ships, a shipping confirmation email links directly to our Track Your Order page
- Enter your Order ID and checkout email to view real-time location, transit history and estimated delivery date
- Carrier scan updates refresh every 12–24 hours; no movement for 48 hours is normal during long cross-country transit
- If tracking shows no updates for 5+ business days, contact our support team to file a carrier investigation
8. Damaged & Lost Shipments
Damaged Packages
- Inspect all boxes before signing delivery; refuse heavily damaged freight if possible
- If damage is discovered after acceptance, take clear photos of the outer packaging and damaged product within 48 hours of delivery

- We coordinate fully with carriers to send replacement parts or full units at no extra cost for manufacturing/transit damage
Lost Shipments
- Wait 5 full business days past the estimated delivery date before submitting a lost package claim
- Our team will launch a carrier trace; resolutions typically take 3–7 business days
- Confirmed lost shipments qualify for a free re-ship or full order refund at your choice
9. Address Modifications & Order Cancellations
- You may update your shipping address free of charge only while your order remains in processing (before carrier pickup)
- Once a shipping label is printed, address changes are unavailable; you may contact the carrier to request hold-for-pickup at a local depot
- Orders can be fully cancelled before dispatch for a 100% refund. If already shipped, you will need to initiate a return via our 30-Day Returns policy

A: Freight carriers provide a delivery window (morning or afternoon) but cannot guarantee exact hourly times. They will call ahead to coordinate a suitable day for you.
Q: Does free shipping apply to sale-discounted fire pits?
A: Yes, all discounted Summit fire pits, pizza ovens and accessories count toward the $199 free shipping threshold during our America’s 250th Summer Sale.
Q: What if I miss my freight delivery?
A: The carrier will leave a notice and attempt redelivery once within 3 business days. A third missed delivery will return the item to our warehouse, and return shipping fees will apply to resend.
Q: Do you ship to PO Boxes?
A: Small accessories only may ship to PO boxes. All fire pits, pizza ovens and oversized bundles require a physical residential or commercial street address.
